1 ANTIQUE TRADE BEAD: Africa Venice - Melon - 13-15 mm

1 antique African tradebead - originally made in Venice: Melon in French Cross colours

These glass beads were made in Venice in the late 1800's and transported to Africa where they were used as money (and highly valued).

Great to use in your jewelry, but also great to display. Will increase in value.

• Tabular: size approx 13-15 mm long x 6 mm across (hole approx 1,5 mm) 
• Fantastic old beads: Turmeric-Yellow (the colour is a bit darker/less bright than the photos) with Red-White-Blue striped pattern 
• Good condition.
• Price is for 1 bead as/of the photos, where you can see (for they are handmade) that each bead is unique (shape/size/pattern)
