OverviewA set of 10 round Rudraksha beads - made from the seads of the Elaeocarpus Ganitrus.
These beads are known as 'Shiva's Tears'
- The word Rudraksha comes from "Rudra" (name of Shiva) and "Aksha" meaning tears.
- Available in 3 sizes:
- Approx 7-8 mm across each - beading hole approx 0,5 mm
- Approx 8-9 mm across each - beading hole approx 0,7/0,8 mm - L (lighter colour)
- Approx 8-9 mm across each - beading hole approx 0,6/0,7 mm - D (darker colour)
- Approx 9-9,5 mm across each - beading hole approx 0,8 mm
- Great for making a mala
- You can use these beautiful beads as they are. Traditionally they are soaked for 24 hrs in ghee, washed in water and dried, before use. This gives them a nice shine and makes them a bit darker. Please do NOT clean the beads with soap or cleaning materials.
