OverviewA set of 85+ (strand 59 cm) antique African tradebeads - originally made in Europe
These glass beads were made in Europe (probably in Venice) in the late 1800's-early 1900's and transported to Africa.
They were collected in Nigeria and are known as Gumba, Goomba, Goombah beads.
Great to use in your jewelry, but also great to display (hang a strand on your wall or maybe on an African statue). Will increase in value!
- Size: approx 7,5 to 8,9 mm across (most are about 7,8-8 mm) x 6 mm length ( sometimes a bit shorter or longer) , hole approx 3-4 mm
- Fantastic old porcelain beads in Off White
- Good condition., some chips and some with antique patina
